Does chewing on pen caps and pencil erasers sound familiar? Then you're in luck! Made in the USA, ARK's Krypto-Bite™ Chewable Pencil Toppers are a safe solution for kids and adults who need to chew. Chewing can be a very effective way to help calm, self-regulate, and focus, so these chewy tools are a perfect pairing for homework, note-taking, and more. As an added bonus, they also add extra weight to the pencil for increased hand awareness and to help the pencil comfortably rest in the web space between the thumb and pointer finger. They're modeled after the same prism-shape as our Krypto-Bitenecklace, but with a hollow tube on one end to conveniently fit over standard #2 pencils. They also feature the same medical grade, resilient material as all of our other chews in three different toughness levels:
soft (magenta or red) - recommended for mild chewers
XT (lime green or teal) - XT stands for "Xtra Tough," recommended for moderate chewers
XXT (blue or purple) - XXT stands for "Xtra Xtra Tough," recommended for those who like the resistance of chewing on hard items
Choose your option from the menu above. Each topper is sold individually with it's own free eraser-less pencil. Color hues may vary slightly. Please note: the bottom half of these toppers are hollow in order to fit over pencils, and as such they are not recommended for avid / aggressive chewers. The best options for avid chewers are our solid XXT chew tools sold here. Best practice is to use with eraser-less pencils (a free one is included with each topper). Each topper measures approximately 2.75 inches in length and .5 inch in diameter.
