Welcome to Toyspedia
We are a renting library of resources for children with special needs. Families can rent from a wide range of resources such as toys, books, therapy tools, reading materials and therapy equipments. Many of the items are carefully selected for parents, educators and therapists to work on milestone development for children.
We also provide services such as Movement Base Learning, Love Music, visiting occupational therapist and visiting speech therapist. This was in response to the growing demand for early intervention services and the necessity for parents and professionals to work together to give the children the maximum opportunity to develop skills and independence.
Besides, we have a dedicated Parent Support Group to offer support and advice to parents.These sessions also provide an opportunity to network with other parents with similar issues and look to identify solutions and a sympathetic ear.
From time to time, we also conduct workshops and seminars for parents to provide more knowledges and understandings on their children's development. The workshops and seminars will be conduct by profesionals from differnt fields such as neuro scientist, speech patologist, medical doctors and more.

Who Can Join
Any child with a special need whether physical, intellectual or sensory, temporary or permanent may join the library. Groups are welcome. Many of the clients attend an early intervention program, specialist therapy session, speech pathologist or special education unit and use this resource to continue their therapy programs at home. There is no age limit but toys are generally suitable for children 0-12 years developmentally.
